Contributing to the further development
of the Indian economy and society through
the electrical engineering portion
of the Indian high-speed rail project

India boasts the world’s largest population.
In recent years, economic growth rate of India
has been remarkable.
At the same time, India faces major challenges
such as solving social issues
that includes global warming measures especially in big cities.

Given the above situation, to achieve further social development,
India requires the construction of high-speed rail,
a transportation method that offers outstanding safety
and punctuality as well as environmental friendliness.

In response to this need, the high-speed rail project
with approximately 500-kilometer-long line connecting
Mumbai and Ahmedabad was selected as the route of
India’s first ever high-speed rail transport system.

This massive project is unlike anything Japan has experienced in recent years.

Based on the agreement between the governments of Japan and India, on September 1, 2021,
our company is established to handle work on behalf of National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), the ordering party, in the field of electrical system (including Overhead Equipment, MV/LV Distribution Power Supply System, Traction Power Supply System, Signalling, Telecommunication, Automatic Train Supervision System, etc.) for the currently ongoing Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor Project.

We are committed to contribute Japan’s extensive know-how to contribute to the further development of India’s economy and society by helping to achieve a reliably and smoothly operated India’s high-speed rail project.
